At Bear & Otter Outdoors, we pack every order with care, caffeine, and probably at least one discussion about knives over coffee.

We’re a small family-run shop in Georgia, not a giant warehouse, but we work hard to get your gear safely packed and on the trail to you as quickly as possible.


Shipping

Processing Times

Most in-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days.

During major sales, events, holidays, or show weekends, processing times may be slightly longer — but we’ll always do our best to keep things moving.

You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your order ships.


Shipping Carriers

We primarily ship using trusted carriers such as:

  • USPS
  • UPS
  • Other regional carriers when appropriate

Shipping options and rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.


Free Shipping Offers

From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions or qualifying order thresholds. These promotions apply only to eligible orders and shipping destinations as specified during the promotion period.

(Translation: sometimes Otter gets generous.)


Incorrect Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the package.


Lost or Delayed Packages

Once a package has been handed off to the carrier, delivery timing is unfortunately outside our paws.

That said, if something looks wrong, reach out and we’ll gladly help however we can.


Returns

We want you to be happy with your gear.

If something arrives damaged or there’s an issue with your order, contact us within 14 days of delivery at:

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging
  • Items must be in resellable condition
  • Proof of purchase is required

Certain items may not be eligible for return, including:

  • Used gear
  • Opened consumables
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Customized products
  • Items damaged through misuse

Knives & Restricted Items

Some products may be restricted in certain states or local jurisdictions.

It is the customer’s responsibility to understand and comply with their local laws before purchasing.

If we are unable to legally ship an item to your location, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the affected portion of the order.


Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to our error or a damaged item, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you regarding approval of your refund.

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method.

Please note that banks and payment providers may take several business days to process refunds.
