The Kizer Field Mouse is a compact fixed blade designed by Jakeb Ginsberg for the kind of everyday jobs that don't require a huge knife—just a capable one that's comfortable to keep close at hand.

At only 5.75" overall, the Field Mouse pairs a stout 2.75" 14C28N sheepsfoot blade with a compact, sculpted handle of Norplex UltreX™ Micarta. The flat-ground blade gives you a wonderfully useful straight cutting edge for everyday utility, while 14C28N offers the corrosion resistance, toughness, and easy maintenance we like to see in a knife intended to actually get used.

The three-inch handle is intentionally compact, with geometric contours that settle naturally into the palm. An included lanyard provides a little extra purchase for larger hands without adding unnecessary length to the knife itself.

This version comes with a Kydex sheath designed to keep the Field Mouse secure while giving you flexible options for carrying it on a belt or your gear.

Tiny? Absolutely.

But that's rather the point.

Why We Like It

We have a well-documented weakness for tiny fixed blades that punch above their weight.

The Field Mouse is exactly that sort of knife. It's only 5.75" long, weighs barely over two ounces, and still gives you a useful 2.75" sheepsfoot in 14C28N.

Add the brown Micarta and those chunky little proportions and, well...
